Food: Marché Mövenpick

Pure Satisfaction!

It's the second time I went to Marché a year after the first visit, and yet, the food still remain the same quality - simply delicious. It's a special treat by a friend and all 5 us had the honor to choose whatever food we like. The ordering process is simple. Right before you enter the restaurant, you are given a card where all your purchases on food will be stamped on the card. The amount you need to pay will be calculated at the end of your meal right before you leave the restaurant.

Although it's not the first time I was here, I still had a great fun choosing our seats and surveying every single stall before we actually decide what to order. We've taken a couple of pictures on the food we have ordered. It didn't turn out to look as delicious as it's supposed to be due to the settings of the seats we've got. We've chosen seats where it's pretty dim, sofa chair and hidden away from the rest of the restaurant. It took me some time to edit the picture so that it looks nicer :p So...Let me introduce the few dishes we've ordered.

Yummy food at Marché
  1. 1. Sauteed Mushrooms
  2. 2. Fettucini Carbonara with 4 types of mushrooms
  3. 3. Australian Rootbeer
  4. 4. Rosti with sour cream
  5. 5. Cheese Sausage
  6. 6. Chicken Schnitzel (comes with Roasted potatoes and mushrooms)
As you can see, we're pretty much having a mushroom meal here. haha... Not to mention, not in the photo, our 2 flavored pizza - Half mushrooms (with 4 different types) and Half Chicken. It wasn't that good because we forgotten to tell them no to put any capsicum coz none of us fancy them. And the whole pizza is filled with capsicum taste. -_-' The sauteed mushrooms were excellent though! But my personal favourite for the night has to be fettucini. The sauce was just nice, just creamy enough not to make you feel gross after eating too much. There were a generous amount of mushrooms and yet, you will still ask for more!

Apart from that, the Chicken Schintzel was really good too! There were so much cheese that once we cut the chicken into pieces, the cheese can't stop flowing out from the center!

As for the drinks, it's the first time I've tasted Australian Rootbeer apart from the standard rootbeer we drink at A&W. Not too bad but too gassy and not sweet enough for my liking. I like the bottle though! It also appears to me that everything in Marché can be pick and mix to suit your taste. We had apple+orange juice! There was this lady asking us if it taste nice and let her know if it does. Well...the mix of apple+orange was really really good indeed! My friends actually went for apple+honeydew juice! To my suprise, it didn't taste that bad too! haha...

Overall, the dinner was just pure satisfaction! The price was very reasonable ! Just RM 177+ for all 5 of us. A lot more cheaper than what we've expected. Apart from the dishes above, we ordered an extra plate of fettucini, espresso with a scoop of Mövenpick ice-cream, a cup of lemonade and a cup of coffee. Now tell me, with all the dishes we had, is it not worth the money?

I will definately be back for more because there's this Cheese Fondue which I really wanted to try but didn't have the chance.
