Please say hi to my Hide plushies...

One dayyy.... I was walking down the street.... looking for the music.... any surprise...

and it was really a 'surprise' when I was given my very first Hide plushie as a birthday present (actually I pestered him to get one for my birthday present but I pretended to be surpised...)

And my life was almost fulfilled with my first Hide... which I called "kakkoi Hide"... one of the few things I intend to do in my life is to throw myself onto Hide's grave but unfortunately I realised that he was cremated and his ashes was thrown over the sea in the US... so there goes one of my lifetime dreams... at least I have my very own Hide plushie to make my life complete...

But deng deng deng
years later, my life was more complete when Zen "surprised" me with not only ONE but TWO Hide plushies for my I-forgot-how-old-I-was birthday! Uwaaah.... I feel so contented with my three Hides' surrounding me...

And my kakkoi Hide now has 2 new brothers: Santa Hide and Rocket Hide...
and Zen complains that Rocket Hide has a weird smell... ish... she's been sniffing on my Hide plushies.... naughty naughty girl... well I know she can't help it too! They're the cutest thing ever!!!

Anyway, I haven't start writing on my Hides' Grand Adventures.... gomen gomen
But will just have some little introductions on them first...

Poor kakkoi Hide... he was so lonely even though I try my best to make him happy but he still insist on fagging away his loneliness....

But not anymore!!!! Obviously Santa Hide is the one on the right....

They look like they're gonna make some formation like Flashman.... hahaha and one of my Hide CD in the middle...

Rocket Hide admiring Hide's picture... yes... Hide is definitely one-in-the-world... he can never be replaced and he will always remain in our memories....

'Krak krak' machines....

I have started a new obsession... those cute mini toys in spheres from the 'krak krak' machines, which is found at Toy 'r' Us, 1Utama (I'm not sure whether it's found in other Toy 'r' Us branches since I'm practically living in 1U). I'm collecting the mini windchimes and Hello Kitty toys... huhuhuhu I want MORE MORE MORE!!

Anyway, 1 token costs RM4, and for my collections, it'll cost 2 tokens to have a chance to 'krak krak' and hope you get a different toy (I feel like I'm playing the jackpot). While Zen is collecting the Gundam mini figurines all because she wants to get the Freedom one (seriously, I don't know when she's gonna get it...) and it only costs 1 token to get those.

and on Zen's insistance... I have to add that these 'krak krak' machines are .... i forgot what she told me...

okiee... they are imported machines from Bandai and it cost 100 yen per token in Japan....

if I didnt add this, she wouldn't upload the pictures for me.... hidoii ne....

Death comes without warning...

Let's see... your perpective on life changes when something drastic/tragic happens to you or someone you are acquainted with. Death came upon me few weeks ago and I didn't know how to react or even express how I felt after that. I was just numbed and my mind was blank. There was an accident at my workplace and a man lost his life. He landed just a few metres from where I was sitting as I am situated pretty near to a window. I heard him fell from 7 stories above and didn't even thought a man was falling to his death when I heard the sound... I thought it was machineries bumping around.
After that, things had been uncomfortable to me. I can still feel his unsatisfaction feeling even after the Taoist monk come and gave his prayers to release his spirit from here. Only after the 7th day of his death, then the heavy feeling was eased and also coz I started playing the Metta mantra here.

And work still sucks...

Random Post

I know the blog it's getting inactive lately. Some things happen to me and Xell on the same day which resulted in both of us stopped blogging for a short while. Hmm... whatever happen to me is quite normal but whatever Xell had to experience was a bit tragic. So I shall let her blog about it when she feels like it.

As for me... I am currently unemployed. Back to days where I can start bumming around. *wink* To everyone... I've resigned. You guys should've seen me complaining mostly abour this mrc fella which is no longer in the company. But there's other unhappy things about the company which I didn't complained about here. To those who knows the reason behind the resignation, please keep it to yourself for some time lar. And to Endoru, if you are reading this post, I do owe you an explanation over what happened. So do message me when you are free if you want to know the "real" truth. haha... Yup... and I meant real truth.

But whatever happen, I am happy to be sitting at home looking for a better job. At the mean time trying hard to complete the project that I am working on now together with Sylphiel. And Sylphiel... if you are reading this... hehe... sorry to say that I've been a bit lazy for the past 2 days. Don't scold me ahhhhh.... Must fast fast gao dim! haha...

Well... I've been lazy in looking for jobs as well. Very inactive. I am just sitting here hoping for the job to find me rather than me looking for jobs. haha... yeah yeah... I wish to be head hunted lar. Fortunately, this job agency did asked for my resume and so I went for an interview with them yesterady. :p

She told me I can speak good English. hmm... People who knows me...is that TRUE??? ahahahah.....

Ok lar... I gotta get on with my work before Sylphiel finds out I am lazy and scold me. (No, she's not fierce. Nope nope...)

Antonio's Dine & Wine @ TTDI

Last Thursday, Xell & I went celebrating an old friend's belated birthday. Not knowing where to eat, we let the birthday girl choose a place for dinner. And so we ended up at Antonio's Italian Restaurant. The restaurant is located same row with Brunsfield @ TTDI. We've always been curious about this restaurant, so finally we gave it a try.

The Entrance

Once we step in the shop, we're greeted by the friendly which I think might be the owner of the restaurant. The decoration of the shop is very nice. I suppose we can say, quite Italian style. There's many wine bottles on display. There was one bottle of wine which I drank before when I was in Italy, and it's on display too.

First half of the shop & the Cashier counter

The entire restaurant view from front

As you can see, the entire restaurant is dimly lit. It was a quiet night and there were no other customers around at that time. Seems like we have the entire restaurant to ourself. I actually felt quite comfy in the restaurant with the ambience and all, it's quiet and it will be a great place to hang out with old friends and for a peaceful celebration. :p

Bread as Starters

It's usual that in western restaurants, all meal begins with bread. The black color dish is actually grinded olives in olive oil. It's like black color paste where you spread it over your bread. It taste quite good and for non-olive takers, better not try. :p

Wild Mushroom soup & Breaded Mushrooms as Appetizers

The friends of mine aka the birthday girl and her sis are mushroom lovers. :p Hence, this explain why there's a lot of mushroom dishes. The wild mushroom soup taste really unique, or shall I say, I've never tried wild mushroom soup before. It's really nice and has a pretty heavy mushroom taste unlike the usual mushroom soup you get. The breaded mushrooms taste pretty good too! I especially like the salad accompanying it. It uses some citrus dressing I presume, it taste a bit sweet and sour, pretty refreshing taste.

Fetuccini Carbonara & Marinated Chicken

The Carbanora has to be my favourite dish for the night. The sauce is not overly thick and cheesy to make you feel disgusted after having too much. The taste is just right. As for the chicken, I can't really describe the taste. haha... It's not too bad, with a bit of spicyness. There's some stuffings in the chicken which includes chilli. Personally, I don't think I will order that dish again if I ever go back there. :p

Own made mushroom pizza

As I've mentioned earlier - mushrooms lovers. :p They chose to customized their own pizza flavor which turns out to be Mushroom pizza! haha... It was not bad. Xell hates eating so-called fungus aka mushrooms. She was picking out all the mushrooms from the pizza and only wanted the cheese. All the mushrooms end up on my place which I really don't mind. XD

Chicken Lasagna

And the final dish of the day is chicken lasagna. Seriously, the lasagna taste very good. Xell say "At least it has a taste!" Haha... She's complaining that some of the lasagna she ate does not have any taste. Personally, I only had lasagna in a couple of places - Dave's Deli & Pizza Hut. Dave's Deli has great lasagna but Pizza hut's lasagna is like a pile of shit. On the other hand... this lasagna taste good but can't really compare with Dave Deli's as there's some differences in taste.

Complimentary Birthday Cake

My friend did mention that it's a birthday celebration when she make a reservation. And tada! A complimentary birthday cake. Seriously, the cake is very very good! Chocolate ice-cream cake I think... or not... Chocolate mousse cake? I have no idea... but it's reallly goooood!

The meal does not comes cheap, and not overly priced either. But this is definately not a place where you can have dinner all the time. :p The entire meal cost about RM 136 with 10% service charge and surprisingly, no government tax. Overall, a very satisfying meal, enjoyable night and I will definately go back there when I have more money for fine dining. haha....

For Reservation & location....

KFC Meltz

I've been reccommended by my sister that KFC Meltz taste good. So during lunch time, I went to give it a try and my my... it was not bad at all! haha... You know... KFC kinda lost their standard here in Malaysia nowadays. They just don't taste as good as they used too and the chicken seems to be getting smaller. Whenever they introduce something new, the something new usually just taste OK rather than good.

I wasn't very convinced when my sis told me it's nice. And look at the packaging, it comes in a box. haha... Make it looks so cute. :p

And as you open it... I was a bit dissappointed because the Meltz is smaller than I've expected. *sweatdrop*

Look at the contents. The Meltz is made of Mozarella cheese, chicken cubes, tomatoes and tortilla chips. All the ingredients are wraped in this bread. I dunno what are those bread called. haha... The KFC advertisement kept telling people the ingredients of Meltz.

Well...it certainly taste quite good. Though small, I find it quite filling. Maybe coz of the Pepsi. Do give it a try when you guys go to KFC.

An Evening with Jim Brickman @ Genting Part 2

Now let's continue with Jim Brickman... The concert started at 8pm. However, Jim Brickman didn't appear until 40 minutes later. Fauziah Latif and this girl named Phoebe from UK came out to sing before Jim Brickman. :p I suppose it's because there are plenty of people still coming in to arena of stars at that time. :p

The Stage

Fauziah sang 4 songs and 2 of them were Jim's songs but translated to BM and it will be recorded in her new album. The 2 songs are Your love and Valentine (Kekasihku) (I think!) hahah... I can't really remember the BM title though. If you wonder who is she, she's actually one of the judge for Malaysian idol and people usually call her Kak G. She looks really pretty that day and her singing was good. XD

Fauziah Latif

After her came this Phoebe from UK to sing another 4 songs. One of them was done a duet with Fauziah. Honestly I have no idea who is she but her voice is sure good! But whatever she was wearing looks really horrible. And her hair! I wonder who's her hairstylist. Her hair makes her looks so old!!! >.<

Phoebe from UK

After the 2 of them, finally Jim Brickman is out!!! He started off playing this song.... I found this on Youtube. Someone went the same concert and recorded the opening. XD Isn't it nice?

Jim Brickman Opening

And the below is recorded by our dear Xell. It is about Jim Brickman explaining his left leg. Throughout the opening, Xell have been asking me about his left leg. There was something wrong with his left leg because it kept moving all over the place. Well... then later he gave a really funny explanation about it.

Jim Brickman and his left leg

After many songs he introduced this singer from US named John Tronus Trones. (Thanks to a kind anonymous telling me how to spell his name :p) Honestly, I have no idea who is he as well but he's got a good voice and he sounds very very Disney. I do not know how to spell his name as well and I have a problem Googling him. Well, he's suppose to be quite famous in the US and he came to Malaysia with JIm Brickman 3 years ago.

He played many songs from his new albums, old albums, disney album... He played a couple of Olympic songs which he's composed. Fauziah, Phobe and John all came out in turns to sing while Jim played his piano. Everytime after one of them sang and went backstage, he will play a piece of his music on his own. He will stop and give some explanation, entertain the crowd after each song he played.

It was a really lovely evening with Jim Brickman. For me, the concert was absolutely great! I didn't know Jim Brickman is realllllly funny, charming and very very entertaining. Apart from the lovely piano he played, he gave a lot of explanation, told stories and they were all really funny. According to Xell... her headache was gone right after Jim Brickman starts playing his piano. haha...

If he were to come again, I am sure I will go for his concert again!

An Evening with Jim Brickman @ Genting Part 1

Last Saturday, me, Xell, Xell's sister and 3 Xell's colleague were up in Genting to catch Jim Brickman live in Genting. 6 of us took Genting express bus from KL Sentral 10 am in the morning. We were nearly late... and the bus driver was making noise. HAHAHAHAH.... Anyway, due to maintenance (though I personally suspect it was hungry ghost festival celebration at Gohtong Jaya), the Skyway is closed and thus our bus will bring us straight up to Genting! Which I think is good because you need not wait in queue for the cable car to take you up there. And due to listening too much of cable car falling down stories, I am in no mood of taking a Skyway during the Hungry Ghost month. XD

Yes, my colleagues made me rush to the bus to stop the bus driver from driving off... leave it to them to think that I'm really good at creating chaotic scenes or distractions... and the driver is really grouchy but I think deep down he's a nice fella coz he didn't yell at me to not bring in my ribena (uwahh... I had to throw away my ribena drink) and not to eat my McDs in the bus. And he even blasted non-stop oldies all the way up to Genting! Yay, I was happily singing along to all the songs... hehehe Anyway, I was thankful that the cable car was not operating (I didn't even have any thought that it could be due to the hungry ghost festival... hehehe), I'm always screaming like an idiot when the carriage takes off...

Once we've reached, which was about an hour plus later, we went straight to collect our room. It was still early, we got our 2 rooms pretty quick but they were not joined room. The staff there told us to come back at 1pm and we can have our room changed. Since I told Xell I want a room at higher floors... We got rooms on the 23th Floor. hahaha...

The bus ride was horridly slow... even a Myvi and Kelissa zoomed pass the bus...
And Zen didn't even make use of the scenery from the 23rd floor... ishh...
(Hey... There was no scenery except for the window facing another room's window and there was a half naked men there... EEEEEEEEE, I closed the curtains right away!)

After settling with our rooms, rest a little, we were off to theme park. (A bit unwillingly for me...haha) Coz they have 2 buy 2 free 1 coupons, all 6 of us is off to theme park. First stop... The Flying Coaster! Since Xell and sis and another girl choose 2 opt out for the ride. The rest of us went for it.

Flying Coaster cost RM 12 per ride!

A Close up look of the carriages

Well, we have a bit of screaming and shouting at the beginning, but overall, the ride was not very thrilling and too short. Most of the time I was praying that my shoes won't fly off in the middle of the ride.

Nice view of Genting Lake

A nice view of the lake

Later we went for boating since Xell's sis have been making noise she wants to go. Right after boating, Xell have been having headache which ruined her entire afternoon and evening. Somehow she managed to tahan and we went for more rides - more like rides which are mild like ferris wheel (yeah! I know!!!), antique car... Oh yeah... we went for the Super Tobaggon Ride too. I think we were all too heavy, somehow the ride was SOOOO BLARDY FAST! Faster than the last time I sat. I felt like I was going to fly out from the ride! Then we went for our all time favourite - Chair Lift.

By the time I finished all these rides, my leg was near to breaking. It was aching so badly that I think I want to chop it off!!! We went indoor and went for this MOST STUPID ride I ever sat in my life! 4D Motion Master. We got a pair of 3D glasses and due to the glasses, half the time I can't see anything on the screen. Seems like my right eye is blind, and apparently the 4D effects meant you get air spraying at your face and water sprinkled on you! We all came out wanting to die! DO NOT SIT THAT RIDE! I repeat...DO NOT. It was horrid!

Anyway, I don't think Xell could bare anything much longer after that. We went for dinner and went back to rest in the hotel before the concert.

Boat plus water plus sun don't go well with me... I really had a bloody headache the entire day! And the tobaggon ride was not bad despite me screaming like an idiot again and I couldn't come out of the tobaggon coz I was laughing hysterically. Yes, I admit that the Ferris Wheel was pretty slow... I wanted to run out screaming freedom when the girl finally let us off the ride...

I hated the stupid 4D Motion Master... dunno who's the one who wanted to go for it. I almost puke during the stupid thing, good thing I have a very strong control on my mind... I ended up removing the stupid 3D glasses and just close my eyes and meditate with the stupid chair vibrating and making squeaking noises...

And yeah, I was really sick towards the end of the day and could barely touch my food too... I was so afraid of puking there... but I forced myself to eat coz the waiter was so kind... hahaha oh well at least I received a very good head massage by my colleague after that...

Movie: The Lake House

Went to catch Lake House at GSC 1Utama last night. Actually, intended to watch at the new cinema next to the Curve but then the timing was horrid... how can I possibly have time to fly allll the way to the Curve from my workplace within 30 minutes??! Anyway, most of the movies there was at 6-7pm time slot... bah... and besides that, wanted to watch Just My Luck at first but the timing sux at GSC too... so in the end we decided to watch Lake House as the incentive of Keanua Reeves more than offset the bad reviews my colleagues were yelling at me when I was purchasing my tickets online...

And so how was the movie? But before that, I'm supposed to describe what the movie is all about in the first place...Anyway Lake House begins at a house on the lake... it's pretty cool looking actually and it's all made of glass and steel. And the story takes off following the two main characters: Kate (Sandra Bullock) and Alex (Keanu Reeves) standing at 2 different timeline. Alex is in the past in 2004, while Kate is in the present, 2006 and they are connected by a bloody postbox...

The movies was funny in some bits of pieces along the extremely slow-paced storyline. There were some illogical bits in the movie too (which I am currently still arguing with my colleague about the concept of time-travelling which ended up getting pretty heated up). So to those who have some intentions of catching it, please just sit there and don't think at all and just absorb the story and don't end up snoring like the lady sitting next to my sister!

Overall comment: It was ok ok for me... oh yeah I forgot to mention that the movie is adapted from the Korean movie "Il Mare", which I have the DVD and have yet to watch it... too lazy to watch it...

Rating: 5 out of 10 (just for the sake of the cute dog even though how stiff Keanu and Sandra was... and the dog was more natural than them... and Keanu looks so pudgy!!! *screams in horror* )

@ o @ >>> Xell screaming in horror

Woo-hoo

Thanks to zen's persuasion, here I am joining her team here... will most likely fill this place with nonsense on the movies (but won't be as often as her since she goes to the cinema 3 times more than I do), books (most likely filled with boring romance books or historical sagas or Japanese manga) and adventures of my 3 Hide plushies... Yes, I'm a very lucky owner of the most adorable plushies... will post more of them here from time to time.

Anyway, there's something that irritates me most... besides buzzing mosquitos and annoying flies that won't fly away no matter how many times I try to draw it to my friends instead of me... is how my mouse here keeps getting dirty no matter how many times I keep cleaning it. And yes, I'm still using a mouse which has a ball... nobody wants to give me a ball-less mouse... and this annoying mouse keeps getting stuck and I have to keep whacking it on the table to make it move... imagine me trying to create a line graph using over 30 observations and my stupid mouse refused to let me budge after highlighting 27 observations and then I have to rehighlight again coz it'll go flying away somewhere.

Well, I guess that's all from me on my first post!

@_@ >> annoyed Xell...

Welcome xelloss!

We have a new contributer to this blog! A big welcome to xelloss! haha... As might see, she's commented on many post before as her nick "Xell". People that knows me well enough might know who I am talking about. haha...
