This is one phone I've been eyeing on ever since I first saw it on the Sony Ericsson site (before it was out in the market). It's a walkman phone with 2 megapixels camera. It's pretty much the same as W800. There's a slight difference between both the phones though... the most obvious is of course - the color.. haha... and this phone does not use joystick for navigation. It's a quad-band (god knows why I need a quad-band phone, I don't go anywhere other than Malaysia) and it also supports EDGE. I also found out that I can set any music as my message alert which I notice some phones doesn't allow that. :p I can also set a sound that I've recorded as my ringtone. Cool huh? :p
Now to the story why I bought the phone...
A couple of days ago, my friend sent me an email about a digital camera warehouse sales at Foto Miami (somewhere near Jalan Templer). It was stated that the latest models of cameras, handphones, digital storage are available and upt to 70% discount! Well... I went, not knowing what to expect because there are times things are not as good as you expected.
To my surprise, I found them selling W810i at an amazingly cheap price. I might be outdated, but the last time I saw this phone in store, it cost RM 1700. However, they are selling at RM 1300 here! Installment plan cost RM 120 x 12 months = RM 1440. This phone model is still consider pretty new, so I bought it on the spot! I went for the installment plan, which was a mistake...Should've just pay 1.3. Anyway, I was all happy, went home, charge the phone for 8 hours.
Then... as I finally can use the phone, I tried to make a call. To my horror... I can't hear a single thing!!! The phone is spoilt!
Why would anyone wants a phone like that? It's completely useless!!! So...the next day I went back there to change for a new phone. The guy tested a while and told me there was something wrong with the software. And... he changed a completely new phone for me! (Whee!!!)
All I can say... I was damn unlucky. Anyway, my new phone is working perfectly fine now. *touchwood* Once again, I am a happy person!
So I chose Tuesday to go because I want to try the Spaghetti and my colleague wants to try the Lamb. The set meal comes with any 2 choices of Soup of the day, Daily Salad or Dessert of the day. I'm not someone who enjoy a lot of sweet stuff, I went for the soup and salad.
Initially, they serve you bread and butter, then the salad, then the soup. The soup served that day was Corn Soup. By the time I was having the soup, I'm already kind of full!! Then the Spaghetti came. It was really yummy, very creamy, the portion was quite big. The lamb... speaking of the lamb. It was really yummy too! But... they serve us the lamb from Friday's Set Lunch (see pic below) rather than the Tuesday's lamb.
Anyway, the black pepper lamb was really well worth the price. They serve my colleague 2 big slices of lamb! I couldn't finish my spaghetti and my colleague was stuffed with lamb! haha...
Considering what we were serve, the portion, the taste and all. RM 13.90++ (5% govt tax and 10% service charge) is really well worth the money. After all the taxes, it round up to about Rm 15 per person. I might try their other set lunches soon.
Above's the menu of the set lunches for one whole week. Click on it for a larger version. Perhaps, you can decide which day you want to have your meal there. If I am not mistaken, there's set lunch at the Mid Valley branch too. I'm not sure what they serve, but you could visit their website and check it out » San Francisco Steak House It's under the promotion section.

Apparently, it's not the first time Zidane head-butt anybody. In his entire football career, he's got 20 red cards and have head-butted, stomped, slapped, kicked players before. If you have a bit of time, and you read a couple of the readers comments, you can generally divide the people in to 2 types - Italian fans and Zidane Supporters.
It's true that Zidane is a legend and he did very well in the world cup but that doesn't give him the authority to head-butt any player at all whether he is provoked or not. You know well enough that you are playing at the finals, and by whistle ends (which is not too far away), you will either scored a goal or playing the penaltiees shootout. No matter how angry you are, you can fight with him later after the match.
You committed a foul, then you will have to prepare to get punish for it and not hoping that you can get away with it. This is a pretty serious foul and not just a push or so where you just get a yellow or warning. Besides, even having Zidane till the penalty, doesn't mean he will 100 % help France win the world cup.
What's done cannot be undone, and I think Zidane paid for his action by getting a red card. He deserve a red card and there's not doubt about it. Whether Meterazzi was acting or provoking, the truth is, Zidane DID head-butt him. If he didn't do it, Meterazzi can't act as well.
It's just a sad way for a lengend to end his career like this. There's no way for the French to get the cup back eventhough they get Meterazzi punished or whatsoever. Besides, Italian deserves to win the cup as much as the French deserve to win.
For me, I am happy to accept Italian as the winner which they will be for the next four years!!! Forza Italia!!!
And the funniest thing that happen this time was what Zidane did. He actually head butt Meterazzi 15 minutes towards penalty shootout and he got sent off for that. It was really funny to see Zidane performing his Shoalin KungFu "Tit Tao Gong". It's sad that a legendary player like him ended his worldcup with a red card.
Anyway, if you miss the "Tit Tao Kung" action watch it here » Tit Tao Kung
The site explains to you why Zidane did what he did... and you wonder it might actually be true. haha ... XD
